  • OsoEco.com, a sustainable social shopping site, went public in June with a promising beta release. Lots of interesting new ideas at work there surrounding the use of tags for community organizing: tagriculture, tag-me-nots, drag-to-tag. They're not funded yet, but they've taken what they have a long way.

Grass Commons helped them develop the ideas around the site, and OsoEco hopes to pioneer the use of Hooze Views, which would pull relevant company information from Hooze.org into their site. Grass Commons' founders — Ethan McCutchen and Lewis Hoffman — led development on the project for several months before handing things over to their brilliant friend, Bryan Stearns.
